In a case where an international free agent signs with a MLB team and is 25 or older and selected in our off-season MiLB Draft then they may be placed directly on a MLB roster without first having an AB or IP bypassing the MiLB roster.
This would allow players drafted in the MiLB Draft such as a Kodai Senga and Seiya Suzuki to not have to occupy a MiLB Roster spot for a game before being allowed to be called up.
25 years old is also the age where international signings are not limited by the MLB Bonus Pool structure.
