Draft Date

We should have the draft order very soon (by Monday at the latest), and if we can get the confirmation I asked about the trades that I had doubts about and who was in the playoffs, it should be done by tomorrow.

So can we move to set a draft date?

Any suggestions for dates?

We started last year's on February 21st, so I think a start date as soon as possible would be what I'd vote for.

I wanted to set up the payments schedule before it, but I haven't seen Kevin or Luis on the last two days, so I'll text them tomorrow.

I'm down for whenever since I have a whooping two picks at the end haha.

I don't even have a pick in the 2010 MiLB draft, but if you guys don't get moving you'll run into Spring Break. Looks like there are a few GMs in college & they'll all be too drunk to draft at that time!!!

Hah me and a few buddies are driving Orlando for Spring Break, and I'm pretty sure I'll be highly intoxicated the entire time.

My spring break is next week, so we might want to start by Thursday or something here, or wait after next week.

Would anyone object if we started by this Thursday? And could we get payments send in already? Thanks (and please send us an email, when you do send it, so we can confirm).

Could we start Sunday instead? To be honest, I havent done any real research and could use a Saturday to do that... no time during the week for me. But in reality, I dont have a 1st rounder so Im likely ok anyway.

anything is ok with me.. i work Thursday nights and the weekends but thursday is cool - you guys can always text me if you want my picks right away

Yeah, I kinda hate to do this with really short notice here. But my problem is that I have Spring Break next week, and I'm not really going to be around here. I don't mind starting Sunday, but I can't really help out then, some of you guys need to take over the draft set up, like posting picks, texts, etc.

Would anyone be up for that? I already did my research for TBD, so I'm good to go, with just texts. If someone can just coordinate it from Sunday, and then into next week, we could wait until Sunday. Anyone want to volunteer for this? Basically you'd have to update the picks (say if a player is taken or not), and text people.

Also btw, no one answered from the last time. To my knowledge, the Players Taken Thread is uptodate. But people mentioned that it wasn't before, so if there is someone that isn't on there, please let us know soon.

Seriously, her wedding might be the first celebrity wedding, that I've said WTF?????? and been serious. Like Marko Jaric? WTF!!! I might actually be able to shoot better than this idiot.

Lets just start it Thursday.. I mean I can help out and post picks when your gone but seriously we don't have a time limit so if your pick comes up and you don't feel like picking till Sunday then by all means wait till then I guess.

I'm good with Thursday and I'll be around all weekend so Sunday would work as well. Starting next weekend though my availability will get a little dicey as I have my local drafts the weekends of the 13th and 27th and will be out of town the weekend of the 20th.

Yeah, we'll start it Thursday, and see where it goes. Since its only 3 rounds, shouldn't take too much time.

I'm not going to be ready on Thursday. Sunday would work much better for me. Not sure you guys are up for a delay but thought I would chime in since I have the second pick.

How about we just start Thursday with no time limit until Sunday. Starting Sunday we can implement the 12 hour rule. Perhaps some picks can be out of the way...

Yeah, we'll just start it Thursday, and then Steve (leveluptime) can pick when he is ready, and move from there.
