| Well, you did have Francis' Gem. Oh, yeah. Sorry about that. You decided to leave that game on your bench. Ooh. Thanks for playing! Better luck next time. | |

Umm, yeah. As a New Yorker who loathes everything Boston, this is one I am not sweating out. Your "star" would rather pass to defensive minded rookies than shoot himself, your hired gun (you're dead to me, Ray Allen, how could you betray me like that) is on 2 bad ankles and can't play defense. So, basically, if Pierce doesn't come out and score 50 every game, we're done in 5. Thanks so much for coming, though. Can someone please tell me who's guarding Kobe? Ray Allen? That's precious. Rondo? Good luck on the offensive end after you dog tired 4 minutes into the game. Or, are you going to put a D specialist in like Posey? In which case, who's out of the game and how will you score on offense? That's right, you were gifted the Playoff Handicapped KG from your former Power Forward (how convenient that was). Other than that, I think Boston has it all covered. Too bad your home record was built against the Knicks and the rest of the lowly Eastern Conference.

| My favorite part of last night's game was them lauding Danny Ainge for all the great work he's done (I know he won the Executive of the year, or whatever). But, he was gifted KG by his buddy (who is completely incompetent). Now, the Lakers were done the same favor, so the Finals is a fair fight.
Ainge is equally incompetent except for a completely no brainer deal that was gifted to him this off season. He's still an idiot, so this makes me laugh. Of course, not an idiot on the Isiah Thomas level, who has so completely f'd the Knicks that even if someone gifted this, they could not fit him under the cap anyway. So, let's give Ainge credit for not being Isiah. That's about it.
And Paul Pierce should have given his man-love hug to the GM of Minnesota, not the GM of Boston when KG was acquired.

I was wrong. LOL Atleast Pau Gasol & Lamar Odom don't have the NBA Finals in the way now so they can get primed for the LA Sparks regular season now taking place. So depressing. Bynum back next year = look out!!!! |

I was wrong. At least in the KG deal, Minnesota got a young stud in Al Jefferson. Who did the Lakers have to give up for Gasol again? O, that dominant post presence in Kwame Brown, Crittenton and Pau's younger brother who may still stay in Europe next year. The Bulls offered a better package for Pau instead they are left wondering what the Grizz saw in Kwame? |

One has nothing to do with the other except that this is the most obvious fix by Stern and the NBA since the Knicks got Ewing (I am a Knicks fan). Stern knew all this crap would be coming out, so he figured he'd divert attention by creating a Celtics finals team. Then, when more stuff came out during the season, he said, crap! now, I have to guarantee a Celtics-Lakers final, so we're sure nobody would care. Least talked about obvious fix in the history of sports this finals. And there's 3 good reasons - the Knicks are so bad, NY is completely out of the NBA, and that is the city and media that is most likely to point this out. The Celtics are involved, so why would Boston highlight yet another obviously tainted Championship to go along with the 3 from the Patriots. And the Lakers are involved, and everything in LA is a made for TV movie, so why should this be any different. So, contragulations, Boston! You're are the official home to the tainted Championships. You must be proud (Oh, and yeah, Al Jefferson. That's a good one.)

Al Jefferson averaged 21 and 11 this past with year with 1.5 blks. Not many players average 20/10 these days. Too lazy to look it up but I am sure there are only 4-5 players who did this last year. Yea, Al Jefferson sure is crap. |

| I've seen him play, and his stats are fine. Just don't tell me KG was not gifted to them. I'm not saying Gasol wasn't the more abhorent trade (after all, it was middle of the season, and Stern had to make sure this worked, or it was all for naught if Boston played San Antonio or some other podunk city.).
Now, Stern has to somehow change the cap rules in 2 years, so Lebron can somehow mysteriously sign with the Knicks along with a big man. This ought to be good.....

I was five years old the last time we had a parade in this town, and I just turned 30 last week!!! You guys just need to get a lying cheating coach for the Eagles and somehow get Dr. J to run the Cavaliers, so they can gift you Lebron. There's really nothing to hate. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

I was five years old the last time we had a parade in this town, and I just turned 30 last week!!! You can thank ESPN for that. 24/7 Boston/New York Sports. I barely watch Sportscenter or anything affiliated w/ ESPN now because it's so over the top it seems like want to jam it down your throat. Can't wait for College Football to start. Go Trojans!! Screw Ohio St. |
