League Payouts

In this poll we will be voting on either using LeagueSafe service or using PayPal with an appointed league treasurer.

Some notes;

League Appointed Treasurer -

This is some of the trouble we got into last year. With one appointed league treasurer you run the risk of that person going MIA and running away with the money. There's several options to prevent this that we could take, several league members knowing PayPal account password and etc.

LeagueSafe fees -

Using LeagueSafe's default payment option, league members can pay their entry fees for free. In order to make LeagueSafe possible, there are nominal fees for certain transaction types, as follows:

Payments
E-check: FREE
Balance transfer (i.e. paying with previous league winnings): FREE
Credit Card: 3% of the transaction amount

Payouts
Amazon.com Gift Card* claim code: no fee
Virtual Visa prepaid card: no fee
Paper Check (standard): $2.00
Paper Check (expedited): $7.00
E-check (electronic bank transfer): $5.00

Late Fees
By default, no payments are allowed after a league's payment deadline. Optionally, commissioners can provide incentive for on-time payments by activating the late payment feature. LeagueSafe charges a late fee of $5.00 - $10.00 per payment, depending on your selected sport, if the league commissioner chooses to allow late payments.

We could also vote to put an extra $40 into our payouts, split it evenly among everybody receiving money. Therefore, whoever receives money, gets at least $2 extra to cover the check.

Much more reliable to go with LeagueSafe IMO.
