Are you kidding? These trades are getting worse and worse. Bidding $ for a top 50 (thus Starting in our 20 team league) OF? I think you may have needed to throw in a closer, too. Hey, Sean - If you don't like something, don't you do it, too. Can't really blame you. But, this is silly.

I don't have a huge problem with the basis of this deal. One, in all reality, Gardner isn't a full-time starting OFer with the way they're moving around players. That doesn't make up for the fact that a few trades lately seem to be below market value. If a new owner wants to have an idea of what he could get for a guy then just look back at past deals. Like I said, I'm not here to judge trades. As long as you have a plan and are being active, then great. But there are also is a point where owners need to know they can get more for a guy.

Totally agree on letting folks run their teams and having active owners is better than not. But, even the NBA stepped in to save teams from themselves at some point.

I am a new owner and I am still trying to figure all of this out. The bidding cash is a new concept to me. I went back through the last couple of years and looked at what the bids were for the MILB bidding, so I based it off of that. I love this league and am trying to learn how the whole system works as fast as I can. Just give me a little time. I'm trying
